Little Help? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, I just bought Faction's today, and I've tried to install it twice, and everytime it load's up guild wars, not Faction's, the guildwar's before Factions, so I tried to make a RP Char, and it wouldn't let me click the faction's symbol, do I need to uninstall the first guild wars? or what do I do?

go to your regular account.

before logging in below the password is an option to add a key.

add the factions key and go to the next screen where you choose to merge or have a separate factions account.

be sure to choose the right one as it cannot be changed later.

Well, first of all, if you already had prophecies installed, you should not have to install anything. Just load it up normally and and the log in screen there should be a "manage account info" or something to that effect. Then you can just put in the new Factions key and away you go! The key is the only thing you really needed.

it is NOT under manage account.

this has to be done before login

You have to click on 'Create Account or Add Access Key' here:-

Then tick the box 'Add the access key to an existing Guild Wars account' here:-

Then just type in your account details, click next and you can then enter the 25 digit key you've got.
